Anyone interested in a position as a Weather Loadmaster in the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron at Keesler AFB? Believe it or not they put a former "Grey Beret" in charge. If you would like any information on the position please give me a call.

Richard A. Cumbo, SMSgt, USAFR

Chief, Weather Loadmaster

Keesler AFB, MS 39532

DSN 597-3727 Comm (228) 377-3727

RC,

Holy Cow! They finally gave you something to do instead of just flying around in storms! Good for you... Cany you use a slightly used retiree GS civilian? (just kidding, I'm having too much fun here at Bragg. Check in often we miss hearing from you.

Fort Bragg... I kinda I miss that place (in a sick way).

RHK,

Do you have or could you find any documentation on a Joint Meritorious Unit Award we were awarded somewhere in the 95-98 time frame? I may have been required to ware blues at least once since then. Not a big deal just trying to get my records up to date

Thanks,

Rick

Rick,

I'll take a look through my stuff and see what I can dig up.

I am jumping in since I know both of you and want a place to start. Rick, I 1st met you in northern GA, when we learned how to tie knots with our eyes closed and build rope bridges, and I met RHK only the previous year when I arrived at Ft Bragg (1987). I stayed at Ft Bragg for the next 6 years finally discharging in 1993.

I pay homage to all the high caliber nco's, officers, and airmen I had the pleasure to serve with during those good ol' days. My regards to the legs that were there at the time, also.

I am within 2 hours of Ft Bragg and would like to give a shout. Been away for a long time and am anxious to do some catching up.
